How NGOGrant handles information when you browse, contact us or use your account.
Last updated: . This revision adds the DPDP grievance contact and reply timeline.
Who operates the service
NGOGrant is operated by LendLink Tech Private Limited, the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described in this notice. Privacy enquiries and requests can be sent to contact@ngogrant.in.
Information you provide
- Checkout and account: your name, email, account credentials and account status. Checkout details may be recorded before a payment succeeds.
- Organisation profile: the organisation details, focus areas, operating geography and registration information you choose to enter in the supported fields.
- Payments: order and payment references, amount, currency, verification status and account-message status.
- Email choices: your funding-email preferences, consent record, selected routes or topics, frequency and delivery history.
- Support: messages and relevant information you send when requesting assistance, corrections or a remedy.
Please use aggregated or anonymised project information where possible. Do not enter beneficiary names, identity-document numbers, medical records, passwords, OTPs or banking credentials into project drafts or general support messages.
Technical information and cookies
WordPress, hosting and security systems may process IP addresses, browser information, requested URLs, timestamps and technical logs to deliver, protect and troubleshoot the website. Account sessions use necessary cookies. Security controls may keep limited records of checkout or account attempts.
Optional analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking must be identified and handled through the appropriate notice and choices when used.
Advertising cookies and third-party providers
If Google AdSense is enabled on a page, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to select and measure ads. Ad selection may take account of a visitor’s earlier activity on NGOGrant and other websites. Google advertising cookies can support personalised advertising across participating sites.
You can review or change Google’s personalised-advertising choices in Google Ads Settings. Participating advertising companies also offer choices through YourAdChoices. Opting out of personalisation does not necessarily remove advertising. Browser settings can restrict or delete cookies; restricting necessary cookies may affect sign-in and account functions.
Read how Google uses advertising technologies and Google’s Privacy Policy. Any additional advertising provider used on NGOGrant will be identified in the relevant privacy or consent notice before its tags are enabled. The presence of this disclosure does not mean every page carries advertising.
Analytics, consent and cookie choices
If optional analytics is enabled, it may measure page visits, navigation, device information and interactions to help improve the service. The applicable provider and choices must be identified when that measurement is used. Optional analytics or advertising consent is separate from payment, account setup and funding-email preferences.
Before serving personalised Google ads to visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, NGOGrant must provide the required choices through a Google-certified consent management platform. Where consent is required, the relevant non-essential storage or processing must wait for that choice. This policy text is not a substitute for a functioning consent mechanism.
Use the privacy or cookie controls shown when those services are enabled to review or withdraw a choice. You may also contact contact@ngogrant.in about the tracking used on a particular page. Necessary account and security processing remains separate from optional advertising choices.
Why we use information
We use information to provide the requested account features, verify payments, respond to enquiries, maintain records needed for billing and security, and fulfil applicable legal obligations.
Funding emails are optional. Consent for these updates is separate from account setup or payment. You can change your preferences or unsubscribe. Essential account, payment and security messages may still be needed to operate your account.
Payments and service providers
When checkout is enabled, payments are processed through Razorpay. Payment details entered in the gateway are handled under the gateway’s processes and privacy notice. NGOGrant retains the payment references and verification information needed to administer your purchases; it does not ask you to send full card details or payment OTPs to support.
Hosting, email delivery and other necessary technical providers may process limited information to provide their services. Access should be limited to authorised people and providers with a service purpose. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to address fraud, security incidents or lawful requests.
The guided preparation service described here does not require your drafts to be sent to a paid AI-writing API. A later service that changes how project information is shared must have an updated notice before that use begins.
Retention
Payment, accounting, dispute and security records may need to be retained separately where there is a lawful or necessary reason. A deletion request does not automatically remove records that must be retained. Requests will be reviewed, and relevant retention exceptions will be explained.
Access, correction, export and deletion
You can request access, correction, export or deletion by contacting us. We may ask for proportionate identity verification before processing a request. We will explain records that can be removed, records that need separate retention review, and any relevant limitations.
External links and security
Official funder portals, government websites, WhatsApp and other external services have their own privacy practices. Review their notices before providing information there.
We use access controls and security measures designed to protect the service. Keep your password private and report suspected unauthorised account access promptly. No online service can guarantee the absence of every security risk.
