NGO Registration & Compliance Services

Preparation, documentation and coordination support for NGO formation, institutional registrations and recurring compliance.

Choose the organisation or compliance task

NGOGrant keeps formation, tax registrations, CSR implementing-agency registration, NGO Darpan and foreign-contribution permissions separate because they have different authorities, eligibility rules and consequences.

These pages provide preparation guidance and service-scope information. They do not imply Government affiliation, guaranteed registration, tax approval or funding.

Government fees, where they apply, are extra and separate from our professional fee and are paid at actual cost, as are stamp duty and DSC where needed. Each service page lists who it suits, what we deliver, what you supply and the next step. Working time is confirmed after document review. The authority decides every application; we do not guarantee approval.

Important: NGOGrant.in does not award or guarantee grants. Our guides and the official portal links are open to read at no charge. Our professional fees (shown above) are separate and are only for preparation and filing help, never for “sanctioning” a grant or approval. Beware anyone who takes money to guarantee funding.

Which NGO registration or compliance service do you need?

Choose the task according to your organisation’s existing legal structure and your next obligation. A formation certificate, NGO-DARPAN ID, income-tax approval, CSR implementing-agency registration and FCRA permission serve different purposes. One cannot be used as proof of the others.

A practical starting checklist

  1. Identify what already exists. Write the legal name, entity type, date of formation, State, registrations and the specific outcome you need. Do not assume that a society, trust and Section 8 company follow identical rules.
  2. Check the controlling source. Use the relevant official authority’s current form and instructions rather than relying on old checklists. For reference: NGO-DARPAN, National CSR eXchange guidance and the MHA FCRA portal.
  3. List genuine gaps. Record which evidence is available, expired, inconsistent or needs professional interpretation. Examples include mismatched legal names, missing authority resolutions, incomplete financial records or an unverified filing category.
  4. Agree the actual assistance scope. A preparation checklist or document review is different from an authorised filing, audit, professional certification or legal representation. Confirm the work, responsibility, fees and Government charges separately before proceeding.

Data protection: Start an enquiry with the task and general entity details. Do not send passwords, OTPs, full identity documents, bank statements or beneficiary case files over a general WhatsApp enquiry. Exchange sensitive records only through an agreed, secure process when necessary.

Important: NGOGrant is a private preparation and information platform operated by LendLink Tech Private Limited. Statutory decisions remain with the relevant authority, and regulated opinions or signatures remain with the appropriately qualified professional. The individual guides explain the task in more detail.

If you are unsure which route applies, describe your organisation’s legal form, current registrations and the outcome you need.
