About Us

NGOGrant is a practical information platform for registered and aspiring NGOs across India. We publish free funding research and how-to guides, and we sell optional document packs and professional preparation through LendLink Tech Private Limited. This page explains who runs the site, what is free, what is paid, and how we check what we publish.

Who this site is written for

Readers usually arrive with a concrete task: forming a nonprofit, keeping filings current, writing a proposal, or checking whether a grant or CSR partner call still fits. We write for founders, office-bearers and programme teams who want plain Indian English, document checklists and honest limits rather than hype.

The editorial scope is national. Guides and funding notes are meant for organisations working in any Indian state or Union Territory. A state example in a guide is only an example; it does not mean the platform is built around one region.

What stays free

  • Funding opportunities directory — researched grant and CSR routes with eligibility notes, deadlines where known, and source dates. A researched route is not automatically an open call; closed rounds are marked when we can confirm them.
  • Practical NGO guides — registration routes (start with how to start an NGO), Darpan, tax registrations, FCRA orientation, proposals, budgets, utilisation and routine compliance. Guides point to official sources and show a “Last verified” date when the topic needs one.
  • Policy pages — editorial policy, privacy policy, terms and contact.

Free pages are general information only. They are not a substitute for legal advice, audit opinion or professional representation, and they do not promise that any authority or funder will approve your filing or proposal.

What you can buy if you need preparation help

Some teams want editable packs or a prepared file set. Those products and services are sold by LendLink Tech Private Limited on this domain:

  • Shop — digital document packs and templates. Product pages state GST-inclusive pricing as set by the operator.
  • Professional services — preparation support for common NGO tasks. On the live service pages checked 28 October 2026, NGO Darpan preparation is listed at ₹1,000 inclusive of GST, and annual compliance preparation starts at ₹3,999 + GST. Each service page sets the scope; government fees, if any, remain separate.

A purchase buys preparation work or files. It does not buy a registration certificate, a tax exemption, an FCRA outcome or a grant award. Those decisions stay with government portals and funders.

If you are unsure whether a pack or a service fits your stage, start with the free guide for that topic, then open the matching service page only if you still want preparation help.

Editorial leadership

The Editor is Vekho P. Ringa (MSW, LLB). Outside NGOGrant he chairs Ura Zuveh Foundation, founded in 1998 in Nagaland as a separate grassroots body. That organisation does not run this website, and NGOGrant is not an arm of it.

Field work with community programmes, board paperwork, proposals and institutional files informs the tone here. When a filing needs a practising CA, CS or advocate on the record, we say so and leave that sign-off to them.

How we check what we publish

  • Grant and CSR call articles should name the official source, the check date, the application channel and any open question on timing. We are still bringing older posts up to that line.
  • Legal and tax guides should cite the section, rule or official notice they rest on, with a “Last verified” date and a disclaimer. Older guides without those lines are being updated.
  • When a call closes, we mark it closed instead of leaving it looking open.
  • We do not invent testimonials, success rates or client counts we cannot evidence.

The editorial policy sets the full house rules. To flag a mistake, send the page URL plus the official document you want us to re-check to contact@ngogrant.in.

Who owns NGOGrant

NGOGrant is the brand name of the site. The legal operator is LendLink Tech Private Limited (CIN U74999NL2017PTC013422; GSTIN 13AAFCV8178A1ZE). Registered office for the company: C-31, Medikhru Complex, Razhu Point, Kohima, Nagaland 797001 — listed for entity transparency. Publishing and product decisions stay India-focused for readers nationwide.

NGOGrant is private and independent. It is not a government portal, not a funder and not an accreditation body. Authorities and funders decide registrations, compliance, eligibility and awards on their own. Reading a guide or using a prepared draft does not bind them.

How the platform pays for itself

The funding directory and guides stay free. Income comes from optional shop packs and preparation services. If ads appear later, they sit next to that model; they do not relax the ban on fabricated reviews or unverifiable impact numbers.

Grant and fee disclaimer

NGOGrant.in does not award grants, sanction funding, or charge any fee to “approve,” “release,” or guarantee a grant. We publish verified funding opportunities and practical guidance so NGOs, founders, and social entrepreneurs can research and prepare applications on their own.

Where we offer paid services (for example document packs, proposal drafting, or related documentation support), those fees cover preparation and advisory work only. Payment does not influence any funder, create a preferential claim on a grant, or guarantee that an application will be shortlisted, approved, or funded.

We do not partner with, endorse, or act for any third party that claims to guarantee grants, sell “sanction letters,” or collect money in exchange for assured funding. Treat such offers as unreliable. Always apply through the funder’s official channels and rely only on information published by the funder.

Short FAQ

Is this a government site? No. LendLink Tech Private Limited operates it as a private platform.

Must I pay to use the directory or guides? No. Those stay free. Shop packs and professional preparation are optional.

Will you guarantee my registration or funding? No. We help with information and preparation; decision-makers elsewhere approve or refuse.

Why list a Kohima registered office? That is the company’s statutory address. Editorial content is written for NGOs across India, not for one state alone.
