Editor, NGOGrant
Last verified 22 Oct 2026
Vekho P. Ringa is the Editor of NGOGrant, an independent platform for NGO funding research, compliance information and project-preparation resources in India. He holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), and is Chairman of Ura Zuveh Foundation, a grassroots organisation established in 1998 in Nagaland, which is separate from NGOGrant.
As Editor he is responsible for editorial direction, standards for research and publication, and coordinating substantive corrections. Articles carry his byline when he is editorially responsible for them. A byline does not mean a government department, funder, lawyer, chartered accountant or auditor has approved the article; where a specialist has reviewed a guide, that review is named on the guide. The full profile is at /about/vekho-p-ringa/.
How articles are checked
- Official source first. Grant and legal facts come from the funder's or regulator's own notice, linked in the article.
- Stated facts only. Each grant article names eligibility, the application channel, the verification date and any doubt about the deadline or intake status.
- Independent check. Drafts are checked against the source before publication; research software and AI-assisted drafting may be used, and responsibility stays with the platform.
- Dated review. Pages show a Last verified date; a listed funding route is not necessarily open.
- Corrections. Reported errors are checked against the current official source and corrected.
